Little & Fierce Theatre Company is an organization whose purpose is to create a collaborative space fueled by compassion for ourselves, others, and the art we create. We believe in fostering an environment where everyone can see their value in the arts.
Diversity: We value diversity and intersectionality in the variety of stories we share, the artists that share them, and the audiences we share them with. We are committed to creating a community of artists across a wide range of identities, including race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, nationality, immigration status, ability, income, and educational background.
Equity: We are committed to actively disrupting and dismantling white supremacy, racism, ableism, homophobia, and sexism within ourselves, our spaces, our company structures, and our world. We seek to infuse anti-racist practices through artistic & educational programming, including color-conscious and nondiscriminatory casting & hiring.
Inclusion: We are committed to the inclusion of performers of all identities and abilities and building accessible spaces that encourage creativity, open-mindedness, and respect.
Accessibility: We strive to create an accessible environment for our collaborators and our audiences.
Education: We believe in accessible arts programming as a means to encourage people of all ages to engage with the world and themselves. Through classes, videos, talk backs, and more we strive to create an environment in which people of all ages can see their value in the arts.
Community: Our artistic endeavors are inspired by our community. We wish to create an environment where all of our collaborators have a say in the what, why, and how of the art we produce.
Generosity & Openness: We will work to create a space driven by compassion for ourselves, others, and our work. This space is dedicated to sharing stories of all kinds, from artists of any identity.
Joy, Creativity, & Passion: We believe in imagination, curiosity, and fun as a guide for creativity. Fueled by these ideals we wish to create an environment that encourages passion, bravery and playfulness when approaching art.
